Turns Made Better, Together.
Friends On Hill
Join us and experience the thrill of skiing and snowboarding while making new friends! A licensed non profit based in Bozeman, MT – and beyond.
*Friends On Hill is registered and licensed with the State of Montana. We are currently waiting for our 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt status from the IRS.*
Friend On Hill’s Community Learn To Ride Program offers adults who lack the financial means the opportunity to learn to ski and snowboard, free of charge. Paired with the same Learning Group and Instructor for the entirety of the Program, this unique, shared experience not only empowers individuals to enjoy the mountains but also fosters personal growth, perseverance, and community.
Our Mission
Friends On Hill educates and empowers the community through skiing and snowboarding, focusing on safety, etiquette, and skills training. We provide financial support to underprivileged
adults to ensure access to winter sports, fostering community growth both on and off the mountain.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an inclusive community where all individuals have the opportunity to experience the joy of skiing and snowboarding, while building lasting connections and promoting a healthier, more active society.

There will be plenty of Friends On Hill SWAG being handed out as well. Carpool with your friends and come kick this off with us!

Free Community Ride Days
A free opportunity to meet new people and make new friends! Meet us every Sunday at Bridger Bowl!
We meet on the Jim Bridger Lodge Porch at 11 AM. Ski/Snowboarding from 11:15 AM until around 3PM. *Must have a valid lift ticket or seasons pass*
Not interested in the group ride? From 3 PM - 4 PM, head over to The Grizzly Ridge (located at the base - not in the lodge), where you can have a drink and meet eachother without the helmets and goggles! Have longer conversations than on the chairlift rides and support a local business who has supported the Bridge Bowl community for over 30 years!
Community Ride Days focuses on making new friendships on the mountain! We aren't here to crown the best skier on the mountain or make "sponsor me" tapes. It's all about sharing a chair with someone new and making turns together!
